Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that purchasing a building is a big decision.  We also understand that there are many companies to choose from.  Below are some frequently asked questions.  If you have a question, and its not answered below, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

Q: If I purchase a building, how soon can I have drawings?

A: On most projects, you can expect anchor bolt plans with full design reactions within 1 week.  You can expect to have your complete drawing package within 1-3 weeks (depending on the project complexity).

Q: Can I get an engineering seal on my building?

A: Yes, sealed drawings are available for a nominal fee.  You typicaly get these drawings within 1 week after you sign the contract.

Q: Will I need a welder to complete my project?

A: No, for most buildings, everything is bolted together.  All the clips are welded to the parts, all you have to do is assemble the primary framing and attach and bolt the secondary framing.

Q: What colors are available to me?

A: We offer 16 standard Silicone Polyester colors as well as 8 Fluoropolymer Kynar colors.  Please contact us and we will send you a color chart.

Q: All I have are some sketches, can you work with them?

A: At Metal Building Solutions, we can get you what you want.  We work with large format prints, pdfs, hand drawn sketches, as well as verbal information over the phone.  We can offer approval drawings to make sure you are getting exactly what you need.
